COB Photo Challenge: 2016 Week #3

“Odd Ball Photos are those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category.  We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.  If you have any of those type of photos, this challenge is for you.” —Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge

What a relief. We don’t have to be an oddball to enter this challenge—although I have that covered— we just need to be able to spot an odd ball photo when we take it. Thanks to Cee, we have an outlet for those photos that transcend genres.

What the…? It’s not one side of an Oreo cookie and it’s not a manhole cover, either. It is nothing more than a plain old rubber coaster.

I took this photo using the Loftus Lens/DC Film combination in the Hipstamatic app

Tilt is always good for me. Maybe I see that way. Like the hint of green.

    Interesting, odd, nicely narrated.

Thanks, Tom. If a picture is worth a thousand words I figure an oddball is worthy of at least a few. Ω

Just the sort of thing I take photos of, Allan. 🙂 I like your background and angle, both of which keep the photo from being mundane.

Thanks, Janet. I’m about half-a-bubble out of plumb on a normal day.
