Open Door Policy

Becky has a new Square format photo challenge for the month of June and the theme is ROOFS (or rooves if you prefer!).

Whenever I see an open door that leads to a mechanical space, or a roof, I always stop and take in the view. It was one of those days earlier this week when I was at a third-floor appointment in San Francisco.

Nice picture. The way you captured the light it almost looks as though the building is made of sandstone slabs. Awesome colors.

Thanks, Jose. The edit is a bit more high-key than my usual ones, but I really like it and the result you mentioned.

Well seen, Allan. Great lines and angles in this shot.

I like the streaks of orange rust here and there contrasting with the different shades of blue. The straight lines and angles topped off by the curve cylinder on top of the building definitely catches my eye.

Thanks for your comment. It looks like some scraping and fresh paint are in order soon.
