An opportunity to combine images and imagination

52 Weeks Photo Challenge: Week 31 — Room

This week The Girl That Dreams Awake has challenged us to post a photo using the theme of room.

Now and again, we can all benefit by making room in our hearts for a ray of sunshine.

Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Challenger’s Choice

I used the multiple exposure feature of the Hipstamatic app to take a photo for Sally’s challenge this week. Edits were made using the Luminar and Hipstamatic apps to create this final image.

This week, share an image that means “earth” to you…

“We are not going to be able to operate our Spaceship Earth successfully nor for much longer unless we see it as a whole spaceship and our fate as common. It has to be everybody or nobody.”
—R. Buckminster Fuller

We only get one Planet Earth. Let’s take good care of it.

Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Black and White

The topic for Sally D’s Challenge this week is Black & White and her post has me thinking about man’s relationship with Nature. On one hand, I certainly enjoy the many varieties of roses in our backyard garden. On the other hand I am concerned about Genetically Modified crops and the overuse of fertilizers and pesticides.

I used the iColorama app to approximate what a rose might look in the future if we continue to change and refine that which is beautiful all by itself.

Cee’s Oddball Challenge: Reflections of the Future

I used the Hipstamatic app to take this photo and then made edits with the Luminar, LensFlare and Deco Sketch apps.
