Last of a Breed

The rear end caught my attention right off the bat.

No, no, don’t go there—it was the rear end of the 1960 Corvette parked at the curb that caught my eye. The rear taillights were so smoothly inset into the white body of the vehicle that form overrode function in my mind, and it was love at first sight.

Have a look for yourself.

I have since learned that this was the last year that single taillights appeared on a Corvette. Starting in 1961, all Corvettes have had four taillights.
