Weekly Photo Challenge: Selfie

The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge this week is to take a “selfie”—the photographic equivalent of an autobiography, in my opinion. I don’t take selfies, as a rule, but I took this photo one night on the roof of the South Anchorage of the Golden Gate Bridge while on a Light Check.

You look like you’re saying, “Hey, come on, whatdya want from me? A selfie?” I think it’s a cool shot especially alongside Part 2. The two together are even more creative.

Thanks, you pretty much captured the emotion behind the first one.

I am getting a lot of that observation—it’s actually fatigue. I may have a trip up the cable on Tuesday and I promise to take a “happy selfie” then.

I really like the portrait, it is really good! And I do like your shots working on that bridge. Beautiful as well

While it’s lovely to “see” you, you seem stern, and that’s not how I imagine you. The presentation is nicely done, just wish that you had a smile or slight one. I guess that was intentional.

      Hi Sally, I guess I look stern because I’m at work-yeah, that’s it, I’m at work…

I promise to work at getting a photo of a “smiling Allan”. Taking selfies is not my thing-hmmmmm, another area of growth to explore.

I close my eyes and let go.

Actually, working on a bridge builds a good grip in both hands. Working at heights doesn’t bother me and I have found the perfect job for me.

Heights don’t bother me either at all.

I’m getting a lot of the “stern look” observations (I’m really not). A new photo will be coming forthwith. Thanks, Allan
