Today’s photo is a retro nod to the ’50s South Florida of my youth.
I have found myself in a weird space for the last week. The last update to my Hipstamatic app has rendered it unusable for taking photos on my phone.
Two weeks ago the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge was to take a self-portrait (a selfie in today’s vernacular). I received some feedback about how “stern” I looked and I agree with the observations. I took the photo below during a walk on the Backspan of the East Main Cable and edited it in hopes that it more accurately portrays my upbeat nature.
Photo Notes: iPhone 5 camera, shot with Camera+ app, edited in Snapseed, Sketch, and CameraBag2 apps.
The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge this week is to take a “selfie”—the photographic equivalent of an autobiography, in my opinion. I don’t take selfies, as a rule, but I took this photo one night on the roof of the South Anchorage of the Golden Gate Bridge while on a Light Check.
Photo Notes: iPhone 5 camera, shot with ProCamera in video mode and converted to .jpg with Grab app, edited in Pop Dot Comics and CameraBag2.
