Lovely colors and perspective. I can see where you’d love them both on the tree and on the ground.

Wow! After the, yea, rain! Incredible capture. Love the vignette, Hipstamatic?

No added vignette, it’s a straight photo from the combo: Libatique lens, Delaunay film, Apollo flash.

You have an interesting Hipstamatic collection.

Interesting bordering on weird, some might say. I’m glad you like the results.

Beautiful colors and an interesting and arresting POV, Allan. That sort of surprise is common in the Windy City, although it’s not always so pretty in results.

Good morning, Janet, and thanks for your comment. The leaves on this tree look good on the branches and on the ground. I prefer them on the branches. We have had this tree for about 10 years and just love it.

True, on the branches is better, but it’s good you could enjoy them both ways.

Thanks, Tina. It wasn’t very windy on this day, that’s what was so weird. Speaking of weird, the tree has green buds sprouting on the branch tips this week. It used to take a few months for that to happen. Could it be….Climate change????
