Two Cents Tuesdays Challenge: Cities

Over at the Across the Bored blog this week, ideflex asked us a simple question: “What is your corner of the world like?”

Her Two Cents Tuesday Challenge gives us a chance to show our point of view in any form: “a quote, a motto or saying, an essay, poem or opinion of yours or attributed to someone else, a piece of music, a song, a video, a work of art, photograph, graffiti, drawing or scribble…”

This freighter was inbound from the Pacific one morning when we were preparing to climb over the rail and work under the bridge. I have decided to combine a favorite quote with it to express the joy and wonderment that I experience living here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Absolutely love the combination of this photo with the quote. I’ve always thought of San Francisco as Montreal’s sister city as they have many little things in common that make them truly wonderful. I fell in love with SF the first time I visited and often think it would be a great place to settle, even for a little while…

Thanks, Janet. I had a lot of fun making this image and may do more combos in the future. It might make an interesting series.
