    Looking up works very well in this picture, I love the light that is shining through the rose. I would say this experiment is a success, an invitation to go on.

    I love flower photos in this perspective, regardless of translucency. However, it really added to it.

    At first the image didn’t speak to my but the I saw the translucent pedals and leaf contrasted with the blue sky – excellent photo

      Thank you, Abrie. I think that the translucent property of the petals “makes” the photo.

      Hey, WG—I’m happy to hear from you again and glad that you like the photo. Having the rose bush in a raised bed was a great help when I decided to get low and look up.
