Blessed Rain

We finally have some noticeable rainfall here in Northern California and I went out and took a photo of raindrops on the leaves of our Japanese Maple tree.

Those are some fiery red leaves. Not that you should get credit for the color 😉 but the photo is fabulous! Looking at some rainy, slushy, icy stuff here tomorrow. Ugh!

Good for you [I think…?]. We’re getting yet another nor’easter tomorrow with 50mm of rain expected overnight. No snow for us, it seems!

Those Japanese Maples get so intensely red, they’re amazing!

Good luck in the storm tomorrow. May your roof shed water and your drains stay clear.

Big, sturdy apartment building … it’s stood here for almost fifty years. I feel safe 🙂

Indeed, it’s such great news that you’ve had some rain-filled days. Hope that it continues for days and days.

The name, Noah, comes to mind, but I know what you mean. A little rain over a long period is much preferable to a bunch all at once (we have experienced that type of deluge several times over the last 30+ years).
