Weekly Photo Challenge: Twist

“Twist” is filthy with meaning: it’s the unexpected, it’s surprise, it’s even an amazing ice cream choice. What does “twist” mean to you? —WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge

Ahhhhh those were the days—the ones back when I had access to unique points-of-view.  Here is a twisted, fish-eye view from the secured beach of Fort Point, nestled beneath the engineered arch of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.

      Thank you, Valentine.

BTW, I am back on your blog’s ‘follow’ list. I don’t know why, but I got disconnected from you somehow.

I love that, Allan. I hope you’re enjoying the twist and turns of retirement just as much as you enjoyed “the bridge.” 🙂

      Hi Janet,

I am enjoying life away from the bridge. Time seems to occur at a much different rate (slower, more enjoyable) than when I was employed. I hope that everyone can experience this at some time in their life.

        Yes it is.

I love your entry this week. What kind of fractal app are you using?

Frax – and I got tempted into purchasing the upgrade though only after playing with it for awhile. The other “Julia” ones are less user friendly….

Thank you so much for the info on Frax. I downloaded it and will put some time into it over this weekend. The 3 dimensional quality of your latest work has far surpassed the possibilities in Percolator.
