The One-stop Tour Guide

Share with us an image, or two, or three, (or more!) of where you live. For bonus points, tell us what it is about the photo(s) that you love. —WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge

I took this photo in late February of 2014 after completing a graveyard shift at the GGB and it is one of my favorite sunrise photos. If you are coming to San Francisco forget about the flowers in your hair. Bring a jacket and plenty of batteries/memory for your digital camera.

This picture reminds me of my last trip to SF about 5 years ago (I know, it’s been far too long) for the GGB’s 75th anniversary. It was magical.

Nice memories, it was actually in 2012. Time flies, eh?

Wow! 2012. Time to go back to the city where people wore flowers in their hair.

So warm. So red. A great perspective, too. Nice, Allan.

Thank you, RX. It was a morning of magical light after working 8 hours in the darkness of night. I’m glad that I took the time to photograph it before I went home.

How does that go – the coldest winter I ever knew was the summer I spent in San Francisco?

Thanks, Carol. I don’t want to be a one-trick pony, but this particular morning was an outstanding opportunity for a clear sunrise at the bridge.
