I’ve been there. Going down is easy, but where’s the escalator to come back up?

The escalator is in the dreams of everyone who walked down the steps, Andrew. What did you think about the lighthouse?

It was interesting. Amazing that the were able to build it there with the tools of that era.

Inviting shot… however the point seems shrouded in clouds or was that the point? Beautiful capture! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS6n2Hx9Ykk

Thanks, Al. Timing is everything—this song was playing on the radio as I pulled into the driveway not 20 minutes ago. I’m glad that you liked the photo, and that is fog, not clouds, that you are looking at (see previous post—LOL).

Your capture draws me into the possibilities of an undisclosed vista.

It winds up at an impressive vista that is worth the effort.

Allan, your shot brings beauty to a segment that probably isn’t that beautiful in many ways.

I keep waiting for the chance to visit lighthouses but we keep heading inland instead.

Hmmmmm. Objects in the rear-facing mirror may seem smaller than they really are….
