Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Challenger’s Choice

I spied this beauty on the way to the checkout stand in our local Safeway grocery store. It is illuminated by a mixture of overhead fluorescent lighting and natural light from a wall of windows to the right of the frame.

Close-up photo of an orchid.

So intimate I want to look away!
I have a hard time not bring all the orchids home from out local Trader Joe’s. I’ll just snap photso

This photo does travel a thin line, but “nothing ventured, nothing gained.”

Lovely! If you ignore the petals, it’s almost dragon-like. 🙂

We love orchids and have multiple in various blooming stages right now. I got a new one for my wife for Mother’s Day.

Allan, beauty, indeed and nice spying it. I often think that we miss so much by not noticing what is before us in our everyday lives. Well done. Happy Photo Challenge.

Thanks, Sally. There is a lot to see if we just take the time to look around.
