A new movie—titled The Accountant and starring Ben Affleck—is scheduled for release on October 14, 2016. In this film Ben Affleck plays a forensic accountant with a seemingly questionable clientele.
Coincidentally, a movie by the same name was released in 2001 and won the Oscar for Best Short Film, Live Action in 2002. This film featured Walton Googles and Eddie King as the O’Dell brothers and Ray McKinnon as a mysterious accountant who arrives in time to help them save the family farm and stop a national conspiracy.
I got a major laugh out of Ray McKinnon’s performance in 2001 and look forward to streaming Mr. Affleck’s film in the future.
