WPC: Transition

“Major change or minor adjustment, transitions are a constant. Let life itself be your muse.” —WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge

My little squeaky friend was trying her best to decide whether to get up and find out what was going on in the kitchen or transition into a sound sleep.

The kitchen won out.

I used the G2 lens/DC film/Jolly Rainbo 2X flash combination in the Hipstamatic app to take this picture.

Love this portrait, Allan. Very effective close-up and her eye is fabulous.

Thanks for your comment, Jane. Her green eyes are quite lovely and they really do stand out in closeups. She doesn’t ‘squeak out’ as fast as she used to, so I have a little more time to compose my shots. She is definitely a work in progress.

Worlds most photographed cat! Did not know histamatic could be so sharp. Perfect shot for the challenge.

Hi, Carol. Yes, some of the Hipsta lenses are sharper than others. Film choice can also influence sharpness.

As for the cat…She spends a couple of hours a night in my lap this time of year. Russian Blues are perfect pets for photographers. She is a portable Grey Card, so I get a chance to try different Hipsta film, lens, flash combos without leaving my chair.
