Photography is my passion and curves are my inspiration. I found this silver Chevy SSR parked at a curb in Mill Valley, CA during a walk yesterday. I had no immediate plans to take photos, but the interplay of light and shadow on the bodywork was too much to resist.

I used the Hipsamatic app to shoot this photo and combined the Lucas AB2 lens with W40 film and the Jolly Rainbo 2X flash.
Beautifully shot, Allan. Love the effects that you chose in post-process. Very creative image.

Thanks, Jane, but there was no post-processing on that image. What you see is what came out of the combination of lens, film & flash in the app.

No problem, Jane. One thing I like about Hipstamatic is the challenge to get a combination that requires no further processing. I haven’t used their filters very much.

The critical backlash puzzled me, too. I really like the truck and waited to buy one until I couldn’t wait anymore. We bought a Honda Element and love it. Ω
