WPC: Blur

It is almost one year since I retired and in many ways life has been a blur. I have been able to enjoy the quiet solitude of spending time with The Lioness. We have been able to travel a bit and reconnect with friends and family.

We are optimistic about the future, as distant and blurry as it may be.

Thank you for your kind words. The photo may be a blur, but life with the Lioness is definitely a purr.

I liked your entry for this challenge. I could hear the music as I read the text and looked at the images. Well done! Ω

Allan, good great luck to you and your Lioness. We will be doing the same in a few years. Exciting and scary, like every new stage in life. I hope you’ll share your stories so that those of us who follow can gain wisdom. Look forward to hearing about your journey.

It has taken every bit of this first year to settle into a new routine, and that has been important. There are so many hours in the day to enjoy life when that “job thing” and commute time are out of the picture. Ω

Great photo! And I also agree that the first year of retirement goes by in a blur. Been a year and a half for me and it’s been a busy time.

Hi Angeline. It only seems like a blur when looking back at the past year. Taken a day at a time, it is a marvelous way to live. Ω

Retirement as a pleasurable blur… the picture captures the sentiment well, one I share.

Love this, Allan. Hard to believe it’s really been a year, but I’m so glad it’s been a good one! May you and the Lioness have many, many more.

Thanks, Allan. I did two this week, something I rarely do. But after I posted the first one, I thought of the Tour photo and had to use that as well. 🙂

Thanks. Coming from someone whose photography I admire makes that compliment even nicer.
