Weekly Photo Challenge: Grand

“We want to see your interpretation of grand, from festive holiday city scenes to the Christmas tree in your living room to other shots that will make our jaws drop.”  WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Grand

It is an absolute pleasure to be one of the people who are responsible for maintaining the lights on this grand structure. I spend two-thirds of my work days in the dark, on either Swing shift or Graveyard, and I love to see the Golden Gate Bridge with all it’s lights burning bright.

This was my view last night.

Want you to know the GGB made the holiday greeting card this year along with a shot I took in NYC from atop Rockefeller Center of Central Park. It is grand.

Sounds great. Is it one of your shots from the Marin Headlands?

Yes, one with a boat in the foreground. A terrific shot. I so wish now that we’d taken some night shots.
