Layer By Layer

This week, let’s explore the interplay of texture and depth.
—WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Layered

This past week I have been working with the Enlight app to add layers of digital elements to some of my photos and move them into a new realm of fantasy and whimsy. My goal is to learn how to makenot takephotos.

As always, your comments and observations are most welcome.

Thank you, Sally. It was going to be this or some layered sandstone.

Nice effort! Though I am not a big fan of digital modification of photos! (Other than the basic touch ups 😀 )

Thanks for your comment, Shibin, I understand your position on digital modification. I moved from basic point-and-shoot digital photography to shooting exclusively with an iPhone and I find myself set free to capture moments, or create memories with various apps. I still marvel at, and enjoy, photos with minimum touchup.

I very much like what you’re doing, Allan. Is this the free version or the $3.99 one?

I think that I have Enlight 1. I have not made any in-app purchases that I can remember.

Just wondered. When you talk about apps, I usually check them out. I may give the free one a try then. Thanks.
