Night Light

I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin’ with the wind
And the feelin’ that I’m under
—Born To Be Wild, Steppenwolf, 1968

We have had some wacky weather here in the Bay Area for the last few days. Monday night the weather bureau reported approximately 1200 air-to-ground lightning strikes and 5,700 cloud-to-cloud flashes. Ahhhh, shades of my youth in South Florida, minus the closeup booming sound of the thunder.

The photo below is my homage to the weather and the precious few drops of rain that we received.

Photomontage of a building with textures added and a stepped ziggurat line.

Very cool, Allan. We’re having just ordinary beautiful weather in northern Illinois, which is a blessing with all the bad weather going around! Happy Wednesday.

We can always dig a little deeper into last week’s entries. There are a lot of talented folks waiting to be discovered and followed.

Thanks, Carol. I like this weather a lot more than the heat we had 2 weeks ago.

It feels like the air has been washed, I’m loving this change in the weather too. Maybe in Feb I’ll be over rain but not today.
