This challenge subject is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, we move from one place to another on. You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride them, as long as the way is visible. —Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge
Back in the mid-Seventies Paul Simon encouraged us to: Hop on the bus, Gus. This mass transit patron is standing at a bus stop at the Marin County Civic Center.
I used the Lowy Lens, BlacKeys XF Film, and Triple Crown Flash in the Hipstamatic app to take this photo and cleaned up some of the shadows with the Noiseless app.
Is that you, Gus?
I know this is an oldie, but having just walked through this arch a couple of days ago thanks to a public free ride on S.M.A.R.T. I’d thought I’d give a shout out 🙂 . Cheers!

Thanks, RX. Did you have time to wander around the Civic Center building?

No. Had lunch at Bogies and then needed to get back to the platform to catch the train back (a bit of a walk!). Sometime later perhaps. We are considering the idea of going to the library via the train so that could provide opportunity to explore 🙂 .

I haven’t been on the train yet, but Bogies is a favorite of ours.

Get in touch with me before your next visit to these parts. Maybe we could meet up at the MCCC and take a photowalk.

Love the photo. I’m a big fan of Paul and Simon, and yes I got on the bus and took that trip across America.

Make a new plan Stan…and set yourself free!
A lot to look at here the B & W makes it otherworldly as if under a great spacecraft.

You might have a point. Let me know if you ever want to come over and take some photos. Every Wednesday at 10:30 am there are docent-led tours. $5.00 for Senior citizens and well worth the expense. Here is a link: http://www.marincounty.org/depts/cu/tours

Hmm?? Might take you up on that. I need a tour of Hipstamatic
Do you buy all those films and flashes you use?
LikeLike
Yes, I bought them after giving Oggl a try. The price difference between renting the apps yearly on Oggl and buying them outright on Hipstamatic was not that much in my opinion. I am getting more comfortable with the Pro editing features these days and that is opening new vistas for me.

Thanks Oggl just expired so I was trying to decide what to do now that all my favorites went away.
I’ll see what the pro features are. Looks like I can just play. Thanks
