Terrific architectural shot, Allan. Nice Hipsta effects.

Thanks, Jane. Photo-wise, I think that the MCCC is filling the gap that the GGB left when I retired.

I love all the things going on in this shot, Allan. I’m always impressed by your use of this app. I got it and wasn’t able to figure out how to get it to do anything. Guess I’ll have to take some time to read more about it online first.

Hi, Janet. I took awhile for me to get a handle on it and then they did a big upgrade a year ago. I put in “Classic” mode and started trying combinations in a controlled setting—a place that I could come back to a take more photos on a random basis.Once I figured out how different combos worked there, I could reasonably expect to get those same effects anywhere else (to one degree or another).

The nice thing about Hipstamatic is that surprises abound, be they good or bad. Check out the website, http://www.hipstography.com (in English or French), and you will find some great tips, instructions and examples.

One thing to remember about the “Flash” slider is that in one direction your phone flash will fire and in the other direction the software will apply a flash effect to the photo.

      Have fun,

Thanks, Sally. It is getting to be more fun as time goes on. All the time that I spent learning the app on airplanes and in airports last year is paying off.
