The San Rafael Pacifics baseball team won the Pacific Association Championship last year on this home run against the Sonoma Stompers. The players were jubilant and ran onto the field to celebrate the event.

The Pacifics went on to win the Pacific Association Championship and became the first back-to-back champions in Pacific Association history.

Next week The Lioness and I are going to an exhibition game between the Pacifics and the Pittsburg Diamonds. Our Summer entertainment is close at hand.
