Allan, I’m quite late this week (as was the posting of the prompt), but I really like your photo. That’s probably how my head would feel were I looking down from the Golden Gate. 🙂

I understand, on all counts. I was actually on the Weather platform that extends out from the West side of mid-span. It was amazing to be “suspended” in the dark and away from something “permanent”. I have been out there many times during the day, but on this particular night—alone, no cars—it was special.

It’s whimsical quality may be due in part to the time that I took the photo—4am. It seemed like the thing to do at the time.
