“Capture something in the middle of two things. It can be a person or object, or simply the space in between…” —WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge
This month the Lioness and I started going to the San Rafael Pacifics baseball games and we are both amazed at how much we enjoy watching a game in person, as opposed to watching a televised game.
My favorite moment is between when the pitcher has thrown the ball and the batter chooses whether or not to swing at the pitch.
In person viewing is always infectious! Love your header!

Infectious indeed. I have found that it is important to pay attention, there is no instant replay on a big screen in the outfield. It is good practice for real life.

True except it seems to be playing a vital role in the Nationals !!

I love going to Greenville Drive home games here in S.C. Single-A minor league affiliate of the Red Sox. Tickets are inexpensive, the ballpark is very nice, and parking isn’t a problem. Fun time for the family. Fireworks every Friday night home game. Gotta love it.
Are the Pacifics affiliated with any MLB team, or are they a semi-pro / independent league franchise?

They are in the Pacific League which is a semi-pro/independent league.
The games are quite affordable—we got a 10 game Flex-pass for $99.00—and can pick whatever game we want to attend. In August we will be at the game when Bill Lee formally retires from The Game.
It is very Family-oriented, with activities for the kids between innings. Last Tuesday was a slug-fest with the Pacifics winning 15—8.

Man, I’d love to get to that Bill Lee game when he finally “retires.” Should be a good one. I expect he’ll leave with some entertaining final thoughts.
