“…share a picture that evokes HOME for you. It might be the place where you live, or a more abstract representation, or something completely different…”
Living on the left-edge of the continent allows for some spectacular vistas of a place we chose to make our home. This is the view from the top of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California looking Southeast at San Francisco. Enjoy.
I took this photo with my iPhone 4 and made edits in Snapseed and Simply HDR.
As always, heart stopping and beautiful.

Thanks Allan. Well, I like to think my heart is in the right place no matter where I am. The movie, I will probably do what I usually do, wait until it comes out on demand. Plus, on Valentine’s Day (night) I will be at the police department taking a class. FUN!

I am so jealous! We live in South Africa, and were fortunate enough to visit your beautiful city last year. I’d move there with the drop of a hat.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this post. I understand the urge to move here. We were fortunate enough to be able to do that 32 years ago and we haven’t looked back at the decision. It is a remarkably beautiful region with some very talented people in all walks of life.
