November 21, 1973 — President Nixon’s attorney, J. Fred Buzhardt, revealed the existence of an 18½ minute gap in one of the White House tape recordings related to Watergate.

October 23, 1973 — President Nixon agreed to turn White House tape recordings requested by the Watergate special prosecutor over to Judge John J. Sirica.
