Travel theme: Texture

Update: Earlier today I confused this Madrone tree with the Manzanita shrub. Thanks, for jogging my senses, RewildWest.

This Madrone tree is on Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California.

Kute Kitten = Krazy Kat

Our multi-colored friend, Tippi, was only 11 weeks old when we found her in the Humane Society. As our Veterinarian said after her first visit, “Calicos are as mixed up on the inside as they are colorful on the outside”.

Tippi has her moments of “The Calico Crazies” but she is a sweet, loving cat no matter what is going on (inside or out).

Story Challenge: Letter “j”

This week’s challenge is the letter “j”. I have chosen this photo of a Jellyfish that I took at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The Jellyfish display is the most amazing thing that I have ever seen at an aquarium. They are like Nature’s Lava Light, so graceful and colorful as well as being hypnotic to view.
