Spiky Square Challenge

Becky has a new Square format photo challenge for the month of March and the theme is Spiky (including jagged, pointy, bristly, serrated, prickly, spiny, and barbed).

After the events of 9/11 razor wire replaced barbed wire at key points of access on the Golden Gate Bridge cables. Very effective for security and very dicey for employees.

Paranoia leads to solutions that are solutions at all. At first sight, the blades look like planes or birds flying free in the sky. Upon closer inspection, the actual thing represents the opposite

I can see how the blades might look like some kind of sci-fi spaceship fighter craft. Good catch.

Art is so much more fun when it’s open to multiple interpretations. Love it!

Thanks, Man. I love hearing how other people react to my images. It opens my perception of what I’m doing and provides some inspiration to stretch my limits and grow beyond what I perceive to be my limits.

Okay – you got the spiky part down. I do like how the light plays on the top spike vs. the lower spike.

I really like the way you did the photo, Allan, getting close rather than showing more. I can see where you’d like to stay away from those!
