Blast From the Past

Today marks the start of a new feature for this blog: Blast From the Past. I have been immersed in research for several projects and keep running across some of the most unusual bits & pieces of news articles that deserve to see the light of day once more.

After 15 years working at the Golden Gate Bridge I can honestly say that I’ve seen a lot, but nowhere close to everything. Witness this example of out-of-the-box thinking from 1976.

Great find. I guess that this article also answers why the chicken crossed the road 😉

Doesn’t that shake your tail feathers. This pic is going to my brother-in-law, last name Peacock. Thanks for sharing.

Oh really? Are your peacock suits less expensive? Mine all cost about that much!

No peacock suits in my closet at this time, Mark. They are about $13,000+ in today’s money.
