Photo of the Day 6/19/18

This image is one of the more intricate photo-edits that I have made to date. I used the Hipstamatic app to take this photo and then made 4 different versions with the Decim8 app. I opened my Luminar app and stacked those images one at a time into layers after editing different parts of each layer in the growing stack.

I saved that composite image and then did a little dodging and burning with Luminar to get the final image below.

Allan, you’ve created abstraction with intrigue and layers of interest.

Thanks, Sally. It was a challenge not to end up with the image looking like a patchwork quilt.

Thanks. It’s a thin line between “just right” and “too much.” I’m happy that you like it.

Thanks, Julie. Every now and then I let my mind out for a stroll and on the good days it returns promptly for dinner.

I say it again: you are the app/editing king, Allan. Love the colors in that final edit.
