“Moneyball” is another baseball flick worth a view, but less inspiring than “Trouble with the Curve”. Will Rogers wasn’t around for the really high taxes that came after WWII, but he was the “Will of the people” expressing distaste for taxes.
Although we tend to share those sentiments from our origins expressed in “Taxation without representation is tyranny”, Oliver Wendall Holmes offered this thought on the subject, “Taxes are the price of civilization.”

It would be nice if we all paid our fair shares. Thanks for your comments, Al. We’re all in this together.

Allan, have you seen “Trouble with the Curve?” It’s a great baseball movie with Clint Eastwood. If you haven’t seen it, it’s on Netflix or get it from the library.
