Photo of the Day 5/28/18

I spent most of last Saturday taking photos of airplanes at the Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa, CA with a friend of mine. My buddy got quite chatty with one of the volunteers and we were allowed to join a Boy Scout tour group and get a closeup look at a Korean War-era A-26C Invader bomber in an adjacent hanger. This particular aircraft is undergoing restoration and will eventually be on display with the rest of the planes in the museum.

The detail you captured in this photo is exquisite. It’s as though these old planes were meant to be photographed in B&W.

This is the first “Wow” photo that I have taken with this particular combo of Hipstamatic lens + film in 4 years of trying. I also think that the old planes are destined for B&W memories.
