Getting Ahead

Imagine my surprise when I found this skull in the engine intake of an RF-86F fighter jet while touring the Pacific Coast Air Museum. Built in 1952, this particular aircraft served in the Korean War and then was modified for photographic reconnaissance service in the Japanese Air Force until the mid-1970s.

It is the perfect subject for Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge this week.
