Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Macro

It’s time to get up close and personal for Sally’s Challenge this week. This photo is a celebration of the Spring rains on the leaves of our Hosta plants.

You’re obviously way ahead of us weather wise. 🙂

Our hostas are only mere purple tips poking up through the ground….

Rain has made all the difference this year. Mild temps, when compared to your area, also help a lot.

Allan, I do enjoy these Hipstamatic studies. The colors are invigorating. Hostas are great plants. They bloom here over the summer, beginning in July and through August. Happy Photo Challenge.

Dang it Allan, I have much the same shots of water droplets on Hostas I could have used for this! Great minds and all that, huh? Actually when I saw this it triggered a thought of something else that will work. I like the choice, since it crossed my mind too!

Thank you, Angeline. I never know if the photos are closeups or macro. Every now and then I throw one out there.
