Hipsta365 Week 11 Continued

This week’s challenge in the Hipsta365 Facebook group is to pair up the C or D Plate film with any combination of lens/flash and this is my second entry.

I used the Salvador 84 Lens and Triple Crown Flash along with the C-Type Plate Film and some in-app editing to create this photo of the entry gates of the Marin County Civic Center.

Multi-exposure of the entry gates of the Marin County Civic Center.

Looks like trombones to me, too. You must love to go to this place!

Yes, I do go here often, Janet. It is my local fav after the GGB.

This is dynamic.. And I know you don’t usually see what I see but, I see a partial view of giant trombones, standing vertically in patient attention..

I definitely see that. These gates could be a trombone graveyard.

It’s similar to a religious experience once you start to take it all in. I have been in and out of there for 36 years and always find something new in the interplay of light and shadow.

Great architecture does uplift the spirit doesn’t need to be a church.
You must have an incredible collection of images.
