Step This Way to Get Yer Kicks

If you ever find yourself in Seligman, Arizona on Route 66 I suggest that you get a bite to eat in the Roadkill Cafe. I ordered the “Guess That Mess” skillet breakfast and it was delicious.

Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge inspired this photo and you can click here to see this week’s challenge.

    Fabulous shot!

My husband and I have often talked about driving along Route 66. It would be a very interesting photographic challenge.

It is broken up into sections because the Interstate Highway criss-crosses it. I saw a lot of abandoned gas stations and motels that looked perfect for photos and explorations.

Thanks, Cee. I like the offset intersection of the perspective lines. I had not tried that before.

It makes for great leading lines the way you did it. 😀

It could Oddball too. Open as late as 9pm wild place 😉
How much of Route 66,was there?. I’ve heard there are just small sections
    How fun.

You are correct, there are just sections paralleling the Interstate. This section ran through the town.

Looks like a place we’d enjoy, Allan. Love the cafe name. 🙂

We stopped for lunch on the way back and it was devine. Definitely worth a stop if you are ever in the neighborhood.
