COB Photo Challenge: 2016 Week #48

“Odd Ball Photos are those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category.  We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.  If you have any of those type of photos, this challenge is for you.” —Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge

We were in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Thanksgiving Holiday and to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday the day after. One of her friends loves Flamingos and has a tradition of using them to commemorate significant milestones in the lives of her favorite people. Under the cover of night she covers their yards with a small army of pink plastic birds and when they get up the next day, and look outside, they know that they have been “flocked”.

This one is the leader of the pack.

I’m NOT a fan of these flock infestations and threatened my husband with all sorts of terrible things if he ever put any or anything like them in our yard, no matter the occasion. I do like how you took the shot, though. 🙂
