Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Barns

This weathered goat barn at Slide Ranch has the stereotypical look that befits a farm, but a solar panel has been added to update the look for the 21st Century.

I used the Chunky lens/Blanko Noir film combination in the Hipstamatic app to shoot this image.

It is well kept. They have artists-in-residence who tend to the grounds in exchange for room & board and a chance to wind down or work on their next project in quiet surroundings.

It was a cool and foggy that day. Perfect for various Hipsta combos.

On the coast in the GGNRA north of Muir Beach. Here’s a link to some directions: http://slideranch.org/contact-directions
A laid-back atmosphere and goats. How can you go wrong?

It’s worth a trip, especially if you have yung children in your life. They might have an opportunity to milk a goat if it is the right day.
