Late Afternoon Light

My little squeaky friend was basking in the sunlight and sound asleep in the kitchen window yesterday. I used the Salvador lens/Love 81 film, Jolly Rainbo 2X flash combination in the Hipstamatic app to take this photo.

Do you see the illusion the light and reflections created of a silhouette of another cat behind your cat’s head facing left ?
It’s the first thing that jumped out at me..
And the picture is great 👍

Thanks, Pan. I don’t see the silhouette that you are talking about, but I will keep looking.

The vase behind your cat’s head, at first glance, appears to me as a cat’s head looking left with ears pricked in same direction..

I also see a hooded stalker outside the center of the window, he’s leaning to the left looking at the “cats” .. 😮

        Imagination run amok ? 🙃

Reality is overrated, Pan. I can see the stalker, and maybe the other cat. That is one of the things that I like about this Salvador (as in Dali) lens—it adds double-exposure and reverse images in layers to the original image.

Get some sleep and try it again. Who knows what you’ll find…

          Thanks for the comments,

It certainly does. I particularly like the way it brought out the yellow of the sunlight.

Thanks, Tom. This combo always offers a surprise and this time it was a good one.
