    Allan, nasturtiums are a favorite edible flower, which I grow and harvest for salads. I’ve never seen one of their flower heads so perky and flat. It must be a different variety, western style. Usually they have a bit of a flare. Your image gives them their due, and you captured that intense coloration. Happy Photo Challenge.

      Thanks, Sally. We had some “volunteers” sprout in a big pot of Calla Lilies a few years ago and we have encouraged them to prosper. We do love the intense orange color—I caught this one in a spot of early morning sunlight.
