Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Nature

The topic for Sally’s photo challenge this week is nature. I used the Penny Lens/Big Up film combination in the Hipstamatic app to photograph this Lily of the Nile in our backyard.

I have an effect like this on Picasa and it works wonderfully with this shot, Allan.

Just got that penny lens haven’t figured out what to do with it but you sure have. The radiating lilies are enhanced!
Have seen the Dali Pak? very challenging but fun double flipped images.

The Dali pak is a lot of fun and this Pinhole Pak is challenging. I have found that everything radiates out of the center of the frame. Try a portrait, but put the bridge of the nose in the center of the square. The eyes are in focus and really pop.

Allan, again between Hipstamatic and you, the image pulls me into its effects. That burst of energy from the flower and the app. Happy Photo Challenge.

Stunning rendering. Darn near puts the plant in motion.

Thanks, Tom. This lens is part of the new Hipsta Pak that came out last week. The motion effect is pretty cool. I’ll have to try it out on a vehicle sometime.
