I’m working backward, Allan, but have to say that I love the color version of your roses even more than the B&W.

The B&W is a great way to see the shape and form but the color photos grab for attention.

Truly beautiful, Allan. I love the way the background makes the rose pop out into living.

The light in our backyard is beautiful this time of year. I get about 3-5 minutes to work on a photo and then a shadow moves in to the scene and I must change my POV or choose a different subject. It is good training for working fast and intuitively. In no tome at all I will have over 100 photos to cull through and delete.
