Fiction in 50: Decisions, Decisions

Once a month Bruce challenges us to write a story in 50 words or less based on a topic he has selected. The topic for this month’s challenge is Raising the Bar and my entry follows below.

Title: Decisions, Decisions
Word Count: 50

“You have two choices.”

“I don’t like either one.”

“You knew this day was coming.”

“It’s not as simple as Yes or No.”

“In a way it is.”

“Some choice.”

“Time to decide.”

“Do I raise the bar or lower my standards?”

“It’s your vote. Time to pick a President.”

Very well done. I thought it was a love spat at first. But it turned out to be a horror story eeeek!
