Multimedia Master

A friend of mine introduced me to the world of Dirk Dzimirsky and I must say that it stunned me. Dzimirsky’s work is described as “hyperrealistic” and one look at his latest charcoal drawing will reinforce that label. He draws and paints on both paper and canvas.

Dzimirsky’s goal is “…to display the intense emotions, that are concealed beyond the visual surface.” Mission Accomplished, Dirk.

Wait that’s charcoal? 100% charcoal? No way! I can see it in parts but OMG, I’d certainly agree hyperrealistic is the term and that the emotions are captured no doubt.
