Sally’s Mobile Device Photography Challenge

It is challenger’s choice today at Sally’s blog and I am going with an image that I took using a new photo app, Provoke Camera. This app mimics the grainy B&W Japanese films of the 60s and is from the folks who brought us MPro, my favorite B&W app.

Very nice Allen. Texture is often hard to come by or get right- this did it. Hey and I see you went diagonal!

Love this effect, Allan, and I think the title works.

Whether discovered or staged, this still life seems to be alive and on its own journey. I adore that you have created your own title for the challenge. Although I hesitate to use my name in it. Tell me your point of view about your word choice. Happy Photo Challenge.

Back in the early 70s I worked at Hayden Electric. The owner, Bruce, was a very smart businessman and a good guy to work for.

He and I were on our way to look over a job one day when he shared with me his view of being in business: Put your name on the front door. Let your customers know that you stand behind your work.

As far as using your first name in the title: it is not about ego. It is your brand, your challenge. It is how we find you in the blogosphere. I put the title out there for you to see it through someone else’s eyes.

This is not a heavy-handed attempt to name your creation. Out of respect to you, I will edit my title if you so desire.

Thanks for the opportunity to participate in your weekly event. —Allan

Allan, actually I wanted your opinion. Would you be willing to write a version of the above and put it on my post from today? That will give others a chance to react to your reply to me. Certainly, I am considering the benefits. Mostly, I appreciate your sound advice.

I am happy to do that for you. Ω
