Ohm Sweet Ohm’s 2013 Review

I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to comment, encourage and help me with the Ohm Sweet Ohm blog. I count a number of you as friends and value the example that you set with your own blogs.

2014 will be a year of change for me as I transition into retirement this Spring. I have three immediate goals:

  • Sleep for the first 3 months. 15 years of rotating shifts have affected my sense of time and my sleep cycle.
  • Resume posting in my Fingerprints memoir—there are still a number of stories that I want to tell.
  • Take my iPhoneography in a new direction by using apps to edit photos into Mobile Art. I have struggled to change perfectly good “photos” into something resembling “art” and I want to break through that barrier to expression.

I am not in the habit of making New Year’s Resolutions but I realize that I just did. So here is one more for me and those close to me:

  • I resolve to take better care of myself (starting today).

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 19,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 7 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
