A long-standing habit of mine is to witness the golden tendrils of light in the early morning and late afternoon. I took this photo of the sunlight in the leaves of the Japanese Maple tree in our front yard when I arrived home after finishing a Graveyard shift this morning. It was a beautiful ending to my dark night.
