Phoneography Challenge: Black and White

Let us journey once again to the Marin County Civic Center and look North towards Terra Linda. This is a view of the building that I haven’t seen before and one that I intend to work with on future visits.

It’s difficult to measure the pleasure you provide sharing art. (It’s also difficult to endorse whatever that measure is to put it in the bank.) Anyhow, thanks for sharing.

Seems like a great place to leave you my congratulations for getting one of your eyeem architecture pix onto the wall at TEdX! Well deserved.

Thank you. I wish I knew which one they picked for the exhibit.

Did any of yours get selected?

Yup – I had to go back and look at what I had actually posted as well – interesting to note that our work is now hanging in someone’s home or office! Wish I knew who and where… What fun to be “famous”, now we just need to get rich!

We are rich in ways that money cannot buy.

Are those FL Wright port-a-johns in the left foreground?

It is a steel container and I am unsure if it is permanent or temporary. I didn’t like it, but I took the photo anyway.

What a wonderful building, great framing. Good to know the ugly is temporary.

I hope that it is temporary, although it presents a nice challenge at the present time.

An interesting building, sadly the curves are cut by that long block in the foreground.

Yes, it is sad. I will be going back to this view when ever I have the time and hopefully that container will be gone. If not, I hope to come up with a better work-around solution

I like the tree frame as well but I also like the way the photo is darker at the top, giving the feel of approaching night.

Thanks, Janet. Along that line I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of light in the upper leaves of the tree. I used an infrared filter effect on it.

Lovely framed by the silhouette of the tree. Happy Phoneography Monday.

Thanks, Sally. I alike the tree frame, too. My one wish is that the steel container, on the left, goes away soon.
